Summary

It is the responsibility of the Supervisor Safety Field Ops to lead, supervise and support the safety field operations team at show site and in the Branch Office while keeping job costs at the lowest possible level and maintaining quality and safety standards. Professionaly interacts with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner relationships to provide the highest level of customer service.

This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show site based out of Boston, MA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise team members. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.

  • Train team members, appraise performance, reward and discipline team members.

  • Participate in the hiring and firing decisions as required. Address complaints and resolve problems with team members.

  • Work with account executive to be sure their needs are met.

  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or crew.

  • Lead team members in maintaining high morale and work standards and build teamwork among the department.

  • Estimate, requisition, and inspect all job-related materials.

  • Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.

  • Perform activities of workers supervised as needed.

  • Prepare workforce requirements and always ensure adequate coverage.

  • Ensure staff complies with company policies and adhere to all safety guidelines.

  • Maintain communication with the Director and advise of any problems that may affect their operation.

  • Prepare initial accident reports in accordance with the Risk Management Manual.

  • Ensure equipment is well maintained and that housekeeping meets company standards.

  • Submit final paperwork to the Director including reports on team member performance

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.

Travel Requirements

Travel up to 25%
