By joining us, you’ll have the opportunity to provide structural analysis of underground structures while coordinating with other engineering groups for tunnel design. Our projects are complex so your expertise will be utilized in a range of technical elements related to the design of underground structures. We’ll ask you to assist on the development of contract documents (plans, and specifications) and apply your knowledge of various methods of tunnel construction in soft ground and hard rock.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• Substantial professional project expertise on tunneling projects

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE)

• Able to lead underground structure design and analysis independently

• Able to develop structural plans and specifications with minimal supervision

• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills

• Knowledge of tunnel construction methods

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred

• Hard Rock Water Supply Tunnel experience

• Finite element modeling experience; PLAXIS and/or FLAC is preferred
