Chewy Sr Marketing Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager in Boston, MA or Bellevue, WA. The Sr. Partner Marketing Manager is a business owner and brand builder that drives incremental business outcome for Chewy and strategic vendors through marketing activities across Chewy owned and operated sites. You will be responsible for owing the paid marketing vendor relationship; creating and executing marketing plans that drive sales and customer outcomes and long-term profitability; and developing new programs and customer experiences by working closely with cross functional stakeholders. We are looking for an e-commerce marketer with excellent client account management expertise and a growth mindset to drive new program development and adoption.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the strategic vendor relationship for all paid marketing on Chewy’s owned and operated site by working closely with vendors to develop, pitch, and execute marketing campaigns on Chewy.com.

  • Create “best-in-class” site experience for strategic vendors and Chewy customers by developing cohesive marketing plans that drive incremental sales and customer outcomes (acquisition, onboarding, and retention).

  • Partner with Merchandising Category and Product to develop net new programs and site experiences for strategic vendors and the associated brands.

  • Manage the paid merchandising and co-op budgets for collaborative vendor-level programs by working closely with Vendors, Merchandising Category, Integrated Marketing Campaign, and Advertising Teams.

  • Own external and internal vendor and core program reporting and performance.

  • Leverage web analytics, customer research, and brand insights to optimize brand content strategies and site experiences.

What You'll Need:

  • 6+ years in vendor, category or shopper marketing and/or agency positions, namely merchandise or vendor marketing in an E-commerce or CPG company.

  • Advanced working knowledge of the E-Commerce platform and framework, as well as digital and traditional marketing tactics and KPIs. Proficient e-commerce and retail business acumen.

  • Ability to use data analysis to inform business decisions and translate those into action plans.

  • Proven ability to influence across the organization, including with members of Leadership.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to flawlessly multi-task and thrive under pressure and strict deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in SQL a plus.

  • Flexibility to travel domestically when needed.

  • Thrive in fast-paced culture with ability to make decisions even when dealing with ambiguity.
