Location/Division Specific Information

This position is situated within the Nucleic Acid Therapeutics Business Unit at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Discover Impactful Work:

You will develop and deploy compelling and engaging thought leadership content. This role works closely with marketing, R&D, application scientists, product management, digital marketing, and data analytics teams. You will impact our mission of making the world healthier by serving our nucleic acid therapeutic customers.

A Day in the life

  • Lead the content development strategy and implement a project plan to create compelling content such as web content, videos, handbooks, articles, e-books, infographics, case studies, and webinars

  • Drive the creation of the web-based mRNA vaccines and therapeutics learning center in collaboration with cross-functional partners

  • Develop initiatives to integrate content into an improved web experience with supporting digital campaigns to drive engagement

  • Own entire content creation process, timelines, and results when working with agencies, vendors, or internal copywriters

  • Research, check accuracy, and uphold Thermo Fisher standards and brand requirements on all content assets

  • Use performance dashboards to optimize content creation, deployment, and engagement

Keys to Success

Education

  • BS in a bio-pharmaceutical related field required

  • Master’s Degree or PhD is preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing within the life science or bio-pharmaceutical industries, with a preference for 6-8 years

  • A robust understanding of biopharmaceutical industry and drug development and commercialization process

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to varying audience sizes

  • Fast and self-starter learner, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team adapting quickly to a changing environment

  • Possess excellent project management, organization, time-management, planning, and budgeting skills

  • Possess strong analytical skills to translate metrics into practical business decisions

  • Ability to influence across functional teams and geographies in a highly matrixed organization

  • Creative intuition on design and messaging that resonates with customers and an ability to learn from previous marketing campaigns

  • Strong focus on customer needs, drivers, and putting these at the forefront of business decisions

  • Position may require COVID-19 vaccination and/ or routine testing

  • Global travel up to 10% of the time post COVID
