VMware Sr Manager, EUC Partner GTM Program Manager - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Boston, Massachusetts

The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?

This position will report directly to the Director, Global Anywhere Workspace Partner RTM Strategy and is a critical role within the Global End-User Computing (EUC) Sales Leadership team. You will lead efforts to accelerate partner go-to-market initiatives and establish key operational processes and strategies for partner sales teams. You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with the EUC Sales Leadership, EUC BU (Business Units), Marketing, Partner, Enablement, Customers Success teams and others to ensure alignment on high impact initiatives including delivering sales targets and overall OKRs (Objective Key Results). To be successful in this role, you must have strong interpersonal, relationship management organizational skills, and the ability to draw out the best in others.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

  • Within the first 30 days you will get familiar with our EUC partner strategy and initiatives, identifying opportunities to organize across workstreams and provide your innovative ideas to improve our plans. You will also meet with cross-functional teams across the organization to capture how to best collaborate and execute on key objectives.

  • Within 60 days, you will lead efforts to develop processes to track success across the various workstreams. You will be working across operations and business analyst teams to establish performance metrics across partner routes to help refine a model for sustainable growth targeting activity that supports healthy pipeline and delivers our targets. You will provide our leadership visibility into our activities with timely and valuable communications. You will establish a cadence of connections with stakeholders across multiple organizations to drive progress across workstreams.

  • Within 90 days, you will be creating and supporting a team culture of execution, purpose, innovative thinking, diversity & inclusiveness as well as operational excellence. You will assist in coordination of continued alignment sessions with key stakeholders and support planning and execution of partner initiatives and events. You will also assist be critical in collecting the appropriate business metrics for leadership reviews.

  • From there you will be a key part of our Worldwide Partner Leadership team facilitating collaborative engagements between key stakeholders and partner teams to support greater revenue streams. You will help bring a strategy focus and best practices to support sustainable growth. Influencing and aligning resources to support our partner teams to achieve greater outcomes and experience.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • You will develop and collaborate with our extended team to refine our execution priorities including the Partner Sales Leadership, Field Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, Partner Program Teams, Customer Success, Enablement, Operations and various key partners and alliances.

  • You will organize and ensure alignment of key stakeholders in a matrix organization across multiple workstreams.

  • Design and implement dashboards of key performance metrics across all partner routes-to-market for End-User Computing to be leveraged in tracking sales play adoption and execution with a focus set of strategic partnerships.

  • Support Partner go-to-market planning and design for improved partner and customer experience for SaaS software sales along with lifecycle services led by a diverse partner ecosystem.

  • Work with our Horizon and Anywhere Workspace Sales teams to ensure the EUC field is enabled on partner activities and events within their sales territories.

  • Coordinate and maintain the cadence and content for business, operational, and strategic reviews with business insights and intelligence to drive decisions on partner strategy.

  • Support Annual GTM planning in developing WW and GEO specific sales strategies with key execution priorities and OKRs.

  • Collect and organize updates from partner sales teams globally to distribute to Sales and Business Unit Leadership on a consistent cadence.

With over 10 years at VMware in various leadership roles in the organization, he is a passionate, persistent, and pragmatic sales leader who believes in empowering the team to lead on execution priorities while building trust and finding ways to win together.

The team is distributed across and works from different parts of the globe with most of the team residing in the United States. The team has a dynamic and open culture of collaboration which encourages inclusion across a matrix organization to learn from others, teach others and grow along with others.

For US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $109,000 - $263,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
