Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Senior SW Quality Engineer to join a team serving a client in the Healthcare sector.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing utilizing HP Quality Center

• Coordinate defect management among various groups

• Drive the implementation of new solutions to production

• Perform other tasks as assigned

• Create Test Strategy and Test Cases.

• Work with client to develop and execute robust technical and business related tests for clinical software. Transitioning test cases from Excel to Service Now Test Management module.

• Introduce the customer to testing methodology and execution. Walk thru test strategy and test cases for approval.

• Mentor customer in test case development and execution.

• Coordinate test meetings with business and technical teams for test execution.

• Provide Project Manager with testing status.

• Work with Project manager to develop project plan related to testing.

• Provide go live support as needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  1. 5-10 years Quality Assurance / Testing experience

  2. A strong background in Healthcare.

  3. Good team work skills

  4. Good communication (written and verbal) skills

  5. Ability to solve problems and conduct research in order to address knowledge gaps

  6. Drive to meet deadlines delivering fully tested work products


Desired Skills (pluses, not essential)

  1. Quality assurance methodologies

  2. Familiarity with the healthcare sector
