IBM ServiceNow Certified Architect in Boston, Massachusetts
As an IBM ServiceNow Certified Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Certified Architect will be responsible for providing the overall guidance and structure for creating and maintaining the designs for the main services of the company ensuring the required business outcomes are delivered. The position involves management of a small team of Technical Architects. All designs created by the team should align to the architecture principles of ServiceNow and should be reusable, reliable and adaptive. The role also will provide a technical gateway between the initial designs agreed in the sales conversations through to the delivery cycles with the project managers, business analysts, solution architects and developers.
This role involves being an expert techno-functional leader, guiding customers through the most complex and demanding ServiceNow implementations. The ServiceNow Master Architect will support a broad range of functional areas, including stakeholder management, handling deliverable development, data management and the creation of weekly presentations. You will work directly with internal stakeholders and manage their requirements as well.
After a period of time, the candidate will be recognized as a IBM ServiceNow solutions Subject Matter Expert with a strong focus on Architectural consulting and transformational vendor based projects in the domain of digitization. The candidate must be a quick learner to become knowledgeable in the trends and directions of various open ISV areas such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HR, Security, and GBS practices.
Based on the Market trends and client needs, candidate must be able to translate these needs into opportunities for the ServiceNow. To accomplish this goal, he / she must:
Act as the subject matter expert to all matters relating to ServiceNow solutions
Identify opportunities for improvement within existing service operations and core propositions related to ServiceNow
Play a key role in the sales cycle by delivering value to solution, designing solution architecture preparing presentations to clients and / or demos
Proactively bring thought leadership and business outlook to effectively address client issues/demands related to ServiceNow solutions
Provide technical guidance and Management of ServiceNow project delivery
Act as platform owner and architect for large scale implementations
Support ServiceNow solution designing (HLD, LLD, Estimations, Timelines, Resource Load) for ongoing RFPs
Handle large scale ServiceNow implementations, People Management and customer communication
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Overall 10+ years of experience in IT Service Management, project handling, process & ServiceNow technical consulting and platform implementation.
Around 5+ years of experience in implementing ServiceNow platform.
Played global SME role for various solutions (CMDB, HRSD etc) for different ServiceNow practices.
Part of Centre of Excellence (COE) responsible to build enterprise product capabilities.
Experience in developing technical solutions for clients and collaborating across business units
Demonstrated effective communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork including assigning and tracking work to more junior employees
Aptitude to learn and apply knowledge quickly
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in implementing ServiceNow processes and functions
Experience with IT Service Management and related tools
Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
Experience in ServiceNow integration projects with external system of record applications (EX : WORKDAY, SAP , 3rd party ticketing tools, Procurement systems etc )
Experience in leading ServiceNow platform upgrade projects Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM
Certified Implementation Specialist – Any module
ITIL V4 certified
