Stratasys Senior Software Engineer (CAD/Geometry/Graphics) in Boston, Massachusetts

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working on cutting-edge software for 3D printing products, including GrabCAD Print and cloud hosted Community and Workbench products. Looking for someone who is passionate about solving visualization complexities of 3D models using industry-leading technologies like WebGL, OpenGL, React, TypeScript.

As a Senior Software Engineer, the primary responsibilities will be:

  • Build and deliver high-performance software that revolutionizes 3D printing

  • Use web technologies to deliver desktop user experiences

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to solve complex problems in 3D printing.

  • Design highly-scalable systems and APIs

  • Encourage good architecture patterns for long-term maintenance and extensibility

  • Help mentor and educate junior and peer engineers


  • 5+ years of software development experience working on engineering, scientific, graphics or computational applications

  • BS or BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or equivalent

  • Demonstrated proficiency building software using one or more of listed or comparable technologies: React, TypeScript, OpenGL, WebGL, C#, and Microsoft development tools

  • Ability to write testable, resilient, documented code with effective unit and integration tests

  • Ability to work in scrum team and use of Jira, Github


  • MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or equivalent

  • Experience in CAD programming, geometric modeling, graphics programming, games programming, computational geometry, simulation or similar

  • Experience with 3D printers, CNC mills, or other manufacturing processes

  • Expertise with OpenGL, WebGL, and GLSL

  • Demonstrated leadership experience
