Job Description
The Senior Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) will be responsible for managing complex, cross-organizational programs that impact both product and business for OCI. In addition, this specific role requires a passion for solving high-impact problems and the ability to jump into any in-flight project and get it on the rails.
Responsibilities
Our Senior Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) is required to define strategies for programs, identify technical impacts on the organization as they relate to business requirements, drive delivery, effectively communicate project status and suggest changes to use company resources more efficiently, regularly participate in executive meetings to present progress, and share project information with stakeholders. This is a senior level role, managing programs with visibility up to the SVP/EVP level of OCI.
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
Responsible for meeting deliverable deadlines
Define requirements scope, including estimations for deliverables such as requirements and conceptual design tasks and related documentation
Create risk management plans and maintain risk register
Host regularly scheduled status meeting with stakeholders
Manage communication cross-department / cross-functional teams
Develop PMO deliverables; i.e. SOW’s, Project Charters, Project Timelines
Prepare communication plans and strategies for stakeholder engagement
Plan project deliverables; including hardware, resources, hours
Manage projects from implementation to closure
Drive critical cross-org programs within Compute organization
Basic Qualifications
7+ years leading complex technical / engineering programs, preferably in Cloud
15+ years relevant work experience in program and project management
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunications
Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership
Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level
Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands
Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Ability to mentor and develop junior TPMs
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience with cloud services, virtualization, or SaaS products
Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment
Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly
Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling

Hiring Range: from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
