We have a rare opening for a Senior Sales Manager on our team leading our Reseller business. This role helps define strategy and execute tactical plans to help a select group of strategic reseller partners (mid-market, enterprise and large enterprise) reinvent the way they buy indirect supplies.

The Senior Sales Manager plans and delivers quota, builds and develops Account Executives, implements prospect acquisition and customer growth campaigns, and fosters voice of customer feedback. The ideal candidate will have experience optimizing sales teams, consistently delivering $500MM+ quotas, executing sales strategy and tactics, and developing cross-functional relationships to voice customer feedback to internal stakeholders. They will also have experience working cross-functionally with partner teams and have experience with technology integrations (including helping connect customers to Amazon's APIs).

Roles and Responsibilities

· While always placing the customer first, lead the team to Deliver Results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

· Develop regional territory plans and report on them regularly

· Drive prioritized lead generation for the team (as appropriate)

· Lead and inspire a growing organization comprised of Account Executives on customer acquisition and growth in the US

· Hire and Develop leaders and Account Executives to support continued, “rocket ship” growth

· Understand and mechanize the inputs and outputs of the business

· Drive Customer satisfaction across the Customer base with expert account management

· Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing and others to test, measure, and execute sales programs

· Partner with Category and Product Management teams to drive pricing and selection improvements

· Take an Ownership role in the continued build-out and documentation of sales infrastructure

· Present results in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives

· Proven ability to close complex deals and help reps negotiate large deals

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS required

  • 10+ years experience in enterprise B2B sales or procurement

  • 6+ years people management experience in the enterprise space

  • Future ability to travel 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred

  • Knowledge of procure to pay processes and procurement systems

  • Distribution Sales experience

  • Strong quantitative skills

  • Salesforce.com experience

  • Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects

  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals

  • Proven ability to influence others; Ability to converse with senior stakeholders (CPOs, VP’s Supply Chain, CIOs, etc.)

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
