Ready to act Right Now, for Tomorrow? * *Job Description * * The Senior Manager, Product Marketing will play a key role in leading the development of external product and solution messages, content and tools with the overall goal of making the ENGIE Impact sales team successful in the field. The role is closely aligned with Sales, Product Management and Demand Generation teams. The Sr. Manager, helps create and manage the implementation of ENGIE Impact’s go-to-market strategy including: portfolio level messaging, positioning, sales enablement, training and market insights. This position will help define ENGIE Impact’s unique value propositions and create sales tools that communicate it to the market. *Function * * Will partner closely with the Sales, Product Management and Demand Generation teams to develop and execute comprehensive product marketing plans that drive growth. * For product and sales focus areas, develop product level messaging and assures that messaging is properly understood and represented throughout our marketing and sales efforts. * Assures that portfolio level messaging and positioning is followed across the organization, becoming the de-facto expert on how to position the offering in a way that differentiates ENGIE Impact in the market and resonates with clients and prospects. * Create high-quality and high-impact sales enablement tools that communicate ENGIE Impact’s unique value to the market for our portfolio of Energy and Sustainability Management solutions. * Writes thought leadership content related to energy and sustainability management topics, including the development of presentations, presenting at internal and external events, identifying contributed articles, corporate blogs, webinars and other solution-related outbound marketing activities. * Develops and executes targeted data driven sales enablement campaigns. * Works closely with sales to understand the buyers’ journey and ensure high quality content is delivered to clients and prospects. * Develop and deliver product-based sales training to educate and train the sales team and partners on ENGIE Impact’s product-based value proposition and differentiators. * Works with Demand Generation team to facilitate lead generation and pipeline nurturing campaigns, focused on development of in-depth content (e.g. white papers, case studies, etc.); supports related campaign execution and reporting activities as needed. * Participate in the gathering of competitive/market intelligence and proactively share this information with key stakeholders across the organization. * Reports regularly on progress and tracks key metrics for product marketing team * Do you tick all the boxes? Join a rewarding and flexible work environment that encourages innovation and creativity and help us meet the energy challenges of today and tomorrow. * * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a Technical field is required, MBA desirable. * Demonstrates an understanding of the energy and sustainability market; experience in the market is desirable * Is familiar with the product management and product development process * Familiarity with various sales methodologies (i.e. Franklin Covey) * Pragmatic Marketing Certification preferred The successful candidate will have 5 years of marketing (product marketing preferred) experience with B2B technology or energy services companies. Business and technical experience with energy or sustainability related B2B companies is a plus. Candidates with a passion for sustainability, high energy, a responsive attitude, and a desire for success will be given preference. * Experienced and at ease with a variety of product and content marketing strategies and tools * Experience creating and delivering sales training programs and content * Experienced public speaking – internal and external presentations skills. * Intermediate to advance skills with all Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word * Experienced with CRM systems a plus. * Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency are mandatory. * Strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and sales communities with credibility. * Exceptional attention to detail; a proactive mind-set and a drive to continually learn and improve. * Demonstrates creative energy in message delivery.
