In this new role, the Senior Diversity, Inclusion, and Opportunity (DIO) Program Manager will help build, launch, and lead initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion within Proofpoint globally. The role reports to the SVP, Human Resources and is a member of the Human Resources leadership team.
In this highly collaborative role, you will bring your own perspective and experience as we explore as a company the multi-dimensional area of diversity, inclusion and belonging and take that exploration to implementation. You will develop programs which span all geographies as well as work to understand regional needs and deliver region specific programs.
Day to Day
Help set company-wide diversity and inclusion goals Develop and execute action plans to meet diversity and inclusion goals Take input and build initial framework for global Employee Inclusion Groups and Sponsorship program Build programs to create a greater sense of uniqueness and belonging for new employees Facilitate and support execution of internal programs focused on sense of belonging in our company Help cultivate inclusivity in a working from home environment Partner globally with:
HR Business Partner community to build and refine programs and processes with a diversity, inclusion and belonging lens
Business and Recruiting teams to help incorporate diversity goals into overall workforce strategy
Learning & Leadership Development team to deliver impactful diversity, inclusion and belonging learning opportunities
What you bring
Five years organizational experience with at least two years’ experience focused on executing diversity and inclusion programs as described in the job responsibilities Understanding of diversity and inclusion challenges in a fast-growing company including how to scale programs for the future Experience leading and executing programs that drive change Experience influencing, relationship building, and communicating across functions and teams Experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis Ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and proposals to engage, motivate and influence team, peers, and leaders Ability to zoom in and out between strategic and tactical Mix of intellectual curiosity, creative thinking, and pragmatism Demonstrable track record of working autonomously and driving progress A highly collaborative approach
