This role reports into the VP, Global Marketing. Position location is Brea CA or can be remote based within the US.

As a Senior Director, Global Product Marketing you would be responsible for promoting Beckman Coulter’s global value proposition and positioning our solutions within key target segments to win market share and position Beckman Coulter as a thought leader in the industry! As part of the Global Marketing leadership offer, you will be enabled to craft our strategy, continue to innovate, and bring new insights to Beckman Coulter.
You will lead Beckman Coulter’s strategy of key product launches. You can accomplish this with an extraordinary team that is passionate, dedicated, and has a steadfast pursuit of excellence.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead Global Product Marketing in the new product Launch Excellence (LEx) process and the development of each product’s contribution to Beckman Coulter’s overarching value proposition in the laboratory diagnostics segment.
Lead clinical market development efforts through partnering with Medical Scientific, Clinical Affairs, Business Units, and Health Economics teams to collaborate with medical and scientific leaders to develop the clinical evidence roadmap and the resulting marketing strategies.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, business development, brand and external communication strategies, tactical plans and programs to optimize market share and profitability.
Identify, develop and maintain customer and partner relationships and meet service requirements. Partners cross-functionally (e.g., with Sales, Service and Business Units).
Lead market research to assess current and future market conditions, competitive product, service and pricing practices and changing customer/prospect dynamics in order to influence new product/service development.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 18+ years’ experience across marketing. Work experience can include post doctorate, residency and clinical experience.
10+ years’ experience leading teams and managing people.
Exceptional executive communication skills to communicate efficiently with key partners including sophisticated medical information to business executives, customers and product development scientists and engineers.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous preferred experience in:
- Knowledge of IVD industry, IVD technology, clinical laboratory science and medicine.
