Key Responsibilities:

The LSG FP&A Systems team is looking for a business process automation developer that can help accelerate automation broadly within FP&A. This position isn't focused on cutting costs but instead on supporting growth by creating additional capacity. The position is part of a team of tech savvy FP&A users and sits adjacent to data warehousing, business intelligence and data science teams. A major focus of this role will be developing an automated finance reconciliation platform that can ingest, manipulate and compare multiple data sources and report on them in a finance friendly format.

The Developer is a seasoned professional who can build process automation solutions using multiple tools and technologies and can support large scale automation implementations by creating the proper interface and workflows. We are looking for talented candidates with experience in the field of process automation using programming languages, databasing and process improvement methodologies.

Key responsibilities are to:

  • Translate functional design into technical documentation

  • Create and maintain documentation, version-track changes

  • Develop applications, write code in a clear, structured and standard way

  • Version track own codes, use team standards and best practices in code writing and documentation

  • Track automation projects, benefits and give regular updates

  • Estimate work and deliver on promise, keep deadlines

  • Participate on meetings and customer facing events

  • Manage and support UAT and Hypercare periods

  • Continuously develop own skills, follow-up on new technologies, programming languages, releases and methodologies

Skills/ Qualification/ Experience

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field

  • Excellent software engineering skills with expertise in Java, C#, REST APIs, microservices (5+ years)

  • Hands-on skill set with RESTful API development and/or testing

  • Web Service APIs and related technologies (REST, JSON, XML and SOAP)

  • Programming skills with Python & JavaScript - Required

  • Experience in building CI/CD pipeline and Source Code repositories Git

  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services - EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS is desirable.

  • Competency on writing SQL queries

  • A working knowledge of UNIX commands\

  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage

  • Experience building Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) huge plus

  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-driven, and make practical trade-offs based on business needs

Working Conditions:

  • The team is serving multiple regions across the globe where the time difference can be more than 8 hours therefore flexibility to join meetings early in the morning or late in the evening is needed occasionally.
