As the Senior Commercial Strategy Program Manager, you will be a member of the Surgical Commercial Marketing team. This high visibility role will develop winning commercial programs designed to meet customer needs across the Surgical Operating Unit. This role will be accountable for creating deal structures, financial assessment of program options, business case tools and training that position the regional commercial teams for success.

This position is based in Plymouth, MN, Lafayette, CO, Boston, MA or North Haven, CT.
A Day in the Life
This role could be ideal for you if you find yourself passionate about partnering with business unit and regional commercial teams to design solutions that deliver value to our customers. Are you eager to learn about product positioning and value-based pricing strategies? Do you have experience leading and driving customer facing programs from concept to reality? This role provides the opportunity to seek input from regional partners on program design, work cross functionally on implementation requirements and to measure program impact.
Program Strategy:
Partner with BU teams, regional commercial leaders, and functional teams to develop contracting programs that follow BU positioning strategy, meet customers needs and support the Surgical operating unit growth objectives.
Create financial models to assess program opportunities and impacts at customer and program level
Ensure programs are aligned with BU product level strategy
Segment program offerings by customer and market
Develop training for regional commercial teams and global regions offer development and contracting teams to follow
Assess operational and systematic capabilities for program implementation to scale
Measure program and customer performance using data driven insights
Provide input to pricing governance and approval process aligned with BU, region commercial and global region teams
Establish process for business case reviews based on region commercial team opportunities
Collaborate on initiatives that BU, region commercial teams and global regions teams prioritize to drive standardization and efficiency with processes, tools, and systems
Program Management
Ensure project plans meet timelines and include appropriate stakeholders from BU, Region Commercial teams, Global Region teams and functions (Finance, Legal, IT)
Set clear objectives, direction, and decision rights with business partners to foster engagement and an accountable culture
Directs day to day activities for multiple work-stream teams through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables across multiple functional organizations.
Establish meaningful project metrics
Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management, budgeting, and issue resolution
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
Masters/Advanced degree
Surgical product and procedure experience
Understanding of global healthcare markets including:
Procedure adoption and growth
Surgical Modality (Open/Minimally Invasive/RAS)
Competitive landscape
Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer facing programs from concept to execution
Leverage data and insights to support decisions and manage performance
Ability to lead evaluation, analysis and performance metrics at program and customer level across multiple geographies
Experience in marketing, commercial, finance with consulting and strategy acumen
Strong negotiation and influence skills
Inclusive change agent able to work across BU, Region and Functions
Program training across multiple stakeholders

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
