Experian Senior Account Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

*DUTIES: *

Responsible for monitoring a portfolio of key customers in the Financial Services segment at Experian. Collectively, the existing annual contracts across these customers is approximately $2M and the Senior Account Manager is responsible for renewing these annual contracts at 90% or higher. In addition, this role’s sole responsibility to sell new products and services into these accounts. Increasing wallet share in these accounts is imperative to the success of Experian and the employee’s target upsell/cross-sell is $400,000 or higher per year. This responsibility includes engaging with new C-Level/VP contacts within the organization, uncovering needs and demonstrating value through Experian’s Solution Selling methodology. Finally, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for ensuring the ultimate success of each customer, which requires significant internal and external collaboration across other Experian Departments and Business Units, the Customer’s Organization and occasionally with third party consultants and intermediaries. The role is approximately 30% renewal focused, 50% sales focused and 20% customer success focused.

*Travel is required 25% of the time.

*REQUIREMENTS: *

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration or related fieldplus 2 years of experience in the offered position or related position.

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered.

Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time”. Required expertise/knowledge includes:

  • Knowledge of the Data Quality Management.
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry and product knowledge to serve in a consultancy manner
  • STRONGMAN methodology to qualify a deal and bringing it through the sales buying cycle
  • Understanding of CRM, Salesforce to help the business forecast and plan
