The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Sales Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in graphics world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Managing channel sales responsibility across all New England states

  • Responsible for key sign companies and OEM accounts

  • Growing the graphics and signage business by developing close business relationships with distributors, graphic manufacturers and sign companies in the territory

  • Developing and maintaining a territory sales plan and sales pipeline

  • Tracking and utilizing Salesforce data on a regular basis

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Distribution management experience

  • Current, Valid Driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor degree or higher with a major/minor or emphasis in sales

  • Sales experience in the Graphics / Signage business

  • Distribution sales experience

  • Ability to demonstrate product and processes in front of large groups

  • Ability to travel at least 25% with some overnights as necessary. Weekend travel necessary from time to time to attend trade shows and sales meetings.

  • Self-starter/ self-directed that leads with high energy and passion

  • Results oriented with strong process and execution skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Strong computer skills, MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

    Territory; New England; Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine

Travel: May include up to 25% within the territory
