76976BRJob Posting Title:Research Compliance and Integrity SpecialistDepartment:Legal-ComplianceAutoReqId:76976BRStatus:Full-TimeStandard Hours per Week:40 Job Posting Category:Legal Services, ResearchJob Posting Description: Reporting to the Research Compliance Officer, the Research Compliance and Integrity Specialist brings a passion for innovation and enhancement and provides project management and analytical support for the development, implementation, and communication of policies and procedures consistent with Federal and State regulations governing biomedical research to foster the highest professional standards for research integrity and excellence.
This Research Compliance and Integrity Specialist will:
Provide guidance and support for Compliance Program activities to the research community.
Benchmark, analyze, and evaluate existing policies and standards in researcher onboarding and offboarding to guide process improvement initiatives.
Prepare analytic reports to assess the impact of new and existing compliance requirements.
Develop training materials for diverse groups of research stakeholders and deliver education and training to foster awareness and understanding of and promote adherence to compliance and integrity requirements.
Respond to requests for guidance on compliance requirements on data management best practices, responsible conduct of research, and new policies.
Assist with the administration of Chips and Science Act and NSPM33 mandates surrounding research security, and due diligence efforts.
Develop and maintain tracking systems for various types of documentation and dashboards.
Conduct special reviews to ensure compliance with appropriate, laws, regulations, and policy standards. Develop recommendations for improvement based on findings and communicate updated information as needed to the research community.
Administer the computer and phone loaner program in collaboration with Research IT.
To qualify, you must have:
BA degree is Healthcare administration, research, business or other related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare research environment.
Ability to effectively persuade and negotiate with peers, senior managers, and the research community on issues and programs that impact compliance matters.
Strong analytical skills and careful attention to details necessary to create reports for optimal planning of enhancements to enterprise-wide systems to support compliance activities.
Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills to drive complex processes to conclusion by working across departmental lines.
Great computer skills, knowledge of Confluence and interest in leveraging internal resources and tools such as Confluence, AI, Office Suite, and Smartsheet.
