What will you do?
The Regional Market Development Manager will develop and execute sales enablement packages to support market development programs. The candidate in this role will need to successfully work within a matrixed organization to manage tactical execution of multi-channel marketing programs and analyze marketing effectiveness to achieve marketing KPIs and other annual operating plan objectives.
Work with our business units and regions to develop sales enablement packages enabling sales team to work high-value leads
Project manage cross-business unit, cross-regional customer segment programs
Manage marketing tactics through LSG marketing execution tools.
Perform analysis of data from marketing campaigns and optimize for future activities.
Conducts data analysis/data mining on internal and external sources of intelligence to provide timely actionable leads to the commercial team on focus marketing initiatives & key product launches.
Manages bi-weekly training for the commercial organization, commercial email newsletter & new inside sales training initiative. This includes working with the North America marketing team & global team to set the schedule; sending invitations; proactively promoting the sessions to maximize attendance; hosting the sessions and following up post-training.
Ensure all sales functions have appropriate tools and training to achieve their goals
Ensure all functions are fully trained (How to position, how to sell and how to handle objections + technical)
Communicates with the appropriate sales function on new products/new tools available, ensuring alignment between Sales channel and BU strategy
Adhere to strict deadlines while keeping projects well organized and optimized.
May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Travel up to 25%.
How will you get there?
- Bachelor's Degree and 4-6 years of prior experience in a Market Development or Marketing Communications role.
Highly organized, independent contributor able to deliver on plans and deadlines.
Exhibits good judgment, remains flexible, and quickly responds positively to rapidly changing priorities and circumstances.
Team player who is prepared to go the extra mile to accomplish critical objectives to drive business and financial outcomes.
Exceptional analytical, project management and planning skills necessary.
Strong communication skills, especially in digital channels.
Good analytical, communications-both oral and written, and organizational skills.
Expertise with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, and experience with Power BI preferred.
Experience in digital and social media marketing a plus.
Experience in Bioprocessing/Bioproduction marketing and/or life science industry marketing preferred.
Experience of working with the Salesforce CRM system would also be advantageous.
