About the role:

The Regional Business Manager will drive franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies and report to the Sr. Regional Business Director for HAE.

How you will contribute:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Business Director and various customer-facing team members to ensure patients are supported through their HAE journey.

  • Drive demand generation efforts through a focus on healthcare professionals.

  • The HCPs should be educated and informed on Takeda brands for the HAE portfolio.

  • Requires daytime as well as evening and weekend activities, and the ability to manage through the complexity of the HAE marketplace (distribution, site of care).

  • You will work closely with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patients receive access to therapy.

  • You must compliantly follow all policies and guidelines and ensure high level of customer satisfaction and exudes Takeda culture and values.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1-5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or relatable sales experience

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

  • Must reside in territory; Ability to travel 70% of the time, including overnight and occasionally on weekends

  • Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental


  • Previous knowledge of and/or experience in Immunology

  • Knowledge of the Specialty Pharmacy distribution model

  • Scientific/clinical background

  • Territory planning skills, analyze and interpret customer data to create sales strategies

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Industry Knowledge – demonstrated knowledge and ability to balance in-office and virtual HCP interactions

  • Product Knowledge – understanding of the medical/therapeutic usage of the products.

  • Sales Techniques – Displays a broad understanding of the strategic goals of the pharmaceutical sales marketplace; understand different sales techniques.

  • Business Acumen – Demonstrated ability to utilize given data platforms to enable you to understand customers motivations and needs

  • Organization & Time Management - Ability to set priorities & maintain accurate and detailed records of appointments, sales calls, follow-up calls, key account contacts.

  • Problem solving/analytical skills – ability to analyze a wide variety of data including sales and market data to make decisions.

  • Relationship building skills – ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with important thought leaders and build trust with others to increase Takeda's competitive advantage

  • Communication – ability to communicate both verbally and written, in an encouraging and appropriate manner including public speaking and presentation skills.
