Providing solutions that make state and local government more responsive, efficient, and effective. As a sales rep, you will sell SaaS CX solutions to state and local government entities.

Sales Territory: DC, MD, VT, NH, CT, RI, ME (State and Local)

Job Description

As a public sector Account Sales Representative for the Northeast Region, you will sell Oracle for Government’s SaaS CX solutions to state & local agencies and be responsible for generating/closing net new, expansion (into existing accounts) and renewal opportunities. You will play a key role in driving Oracle’s strategic, enterprise-wide CRM, permitting/licensing, civic assist, and other application platform sales plays. Only Oracle CX for Government offers a completely unified platform tying front and back-office applications together for an end-to-end and comprehensive customer experience.

  • What will you bring to the table?

State and Local selling experience and success.

  • 7+ years SaaS/Software/PaaS sales experience.

  • CRM experience a plus

  • Permitting and Licensing experience a plus

  • History of meeting/exceeding annual sales quotas

  • Proficient in new/transformational business development

  • Strong prospecting skills

  • A positive, can-do attitude

  • Demonstrated success targeting C-level and LOBs

  • College degree or equivalent

Manage entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to close. Develop solution proposals, quotes and response to RFx. Participate in the development and presentation of the Oracle CX Cloud value proposition. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel required.
