Weston & Sampson is currently seeking a Project Manager with 8-12 years of experience to work with our Water group. This position will be located in either our Boston, Foxboro or Reading, Massachusetts office locations.
What you’ll do:
Overseeing and assisting project teams with preparing site civil, land development, permitting, water treatment, and water utility designs including preparation of plans and specifications for permitting and construction
Overseeing and assisting project teams with preparing water engineering studies, field evaluations and assessment of existing and newly constructed water systems and facilities
Familiarwith water system planning, design and construction administration for water supply, treatment and distribution systems
Must have experience in dealing with multiple projects and clients along with managing technical, budgetary and client aspects of projects.
Mentoring staff and project business development is key
Participate in professional organizations and technical committees
Flexible workload, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members including delegating work to entry level staff
Day trips out to sites throughout New England 2-10 times per month
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
PE license in New England state is required; PE license in Massachusetts (preferred)
8 plus years of relevant experience working in an engineering and/or project management role
Experience in managingmultiple projects and clients, along with the associated administrative, budgetary, and financial tracking elements of projects
Highly effective with written and verbal communication, including public presentations
Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring
Possesses high ethical standards, committed to producing high quality work, with a commitment to teamwork, respect and integrity
Experience with AutoCAD,Civil 3D, GIS, REVIT (preferred)
Valid driver’s license
