Takeoff Technologies, Inc. Project Manager - Fulfillment in Boston, Massachusetts

Takeoff Tech is a well-funded, 50-person startup enabling retailers to sell groceries online profitably. Takeoff is developing automated aisle-less stores coupled with an end-to-end eGrocery technology stack, offering customers the assortment and low prices of supermarkets, fast & easy mobile ordering, and free pickup in an hour.

We are looking for a Fulfillment Project Manager to lead configuration of our Fulfillment products based on meaningful analytical insights for a successful implementation in the retailer’s context. The Fulfillment Manager will interact closely with Takeoff’s Product lead and with key stakeholders at client organization at leadership level to ensure world-class grocery fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, have relevant warehouse design or supply chain experience and with automated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product configuration for Takeoff'’s Fulfillment Solutions for specific clients.

  • Lead analytical roadmap and translation into insightful recommendations for development of fulfillment processes and layout design.

  • Develop fulfillment processes that foster growth, improves productivity and ensures quality.

  • Coordinate cross functional efforts both internally and at client’s organization to ensure project is done on time, on budget and sets up the company and client for success.

  • Collaborate closely and effectively with engineers, business leaders and managers to drive the development of critical and innovative fulfillment initiatives.

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project.

  • Anticipate potential delays or roadblocks (internal or external), communicate them promptly to the right audience and help identify and assess potential solutions.

  • Able to keep scope of project on track based on agreement with client and a thorough understanding of Takeoff Technologies product suite.

Requirements

  • 3 plus years relevant experience in warehouse design, supply chain management.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate & communicate with a wide range of team members from every function and at every level.

  • Bonus points for experience working in a similar role, with a strong process design and data analytical background.

  • Ability to make business-critical decisions that will have a real impact on the company's productivity and growth.

  • Strong Project management experience that includes problem identification and resource planning.

  • Proven strength in both oral and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and present logical reasons to all levels of the business, including senior management

  • Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to work in a hyper-growth environment.

  • Solid communication skills, especially comfortable with leadership.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Engineering, IT ) MBA a plus.

  • Ability to travel 20-30%
