Ford Motor Company Project Manager, Dealer Charging in Boston, Massachusetts

Energized by customer needs and expectations, Ford Model e is crafting an outstanding experience for drivers transitioning into the exciting world of battery electric vehicles. As a Deployment Manager, you’ll help Ford dealerships deliver a confidence-inspiring charging network that replaces range anxiety with peace of mind for all our guests. This high visibility role will serve as a primary point of contact for installation partners in Ford’s Model e dealer charging program. You’ll be an expert on charging hardware and installation, will help to refine milestones in the construction process and will seek out innovative new strategies to reduce complexity and lower costs.   • Coordinate Status reporting with the PMO office including input from internal teams (like Ford Pro Software, Customer Support) as well as Dealerships, Turnkey Installers, Rotunda etc.

  • Coordinate with Ford Pro the onboarding, commissioning, set up tasks that need to be performed

  • Coordinate with Ford Pro training for dealers using Ford Pro hardware, software, ESPs. This includes creation of the curriculum, and all supporting materials to be used by dealers.

  • Utilize project management and data visualization platforms to capture charging installation progress from site survey through commissioning

  • Creative thinker, problem solver and resilient. This position is often working in white space and needs a resilient / creative thinker to help evolve from traditional models of doing business

  • Ability to influence peers and stakeholders to gain alignment toward vision/goals

  • Prior project experience requiring collaboration across teams/organizations/vendors

  • Self-starter; ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong drive for results, commitment to quality and attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communications (able to effectively assert point of view)

  • Self-starter with ability to adapt to new customer learnings and incorporate into support strategy

  • Strong collaborator with ability to align teams on executable support strategy

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a preference for Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience managing construction projects related to electric vehicle charging, solar and/or energy storage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in electrification, energy, and sustainable mobility

  • Strong organizational skills, including coordinating teams, and managing and tracking requirements

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical topics across a wide array of audiences
