The Product Sales Specialist - Cell Culture, for Cytiva is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services.

This position is part of the Cytiva Cell Culture Modality located in Marlborough, MA and will be a fully remote field sales position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet and exceed sales and orders volumes at the target prices in assigned accounts/territory.

  • Prepare annual territory sales budget in collaboration with Sales leadership, including forecasting.sales, analyzing data, and maintaining records and documentation within appropriate systems.

  • Build relationships, develop a business strategy, and maximize business opportunities for Cytiva Cell Culture. Represent and act as a primary customer point of contact in the allocated accounts/territory which will include overnight travel and direct customer interaction. Provide on-going feedback to management, product teams, services andmarketing.

  • Develop & implement Go-to-Market plans within territory in collaboration with cross functional.teams to achieve results through effective project proposals, negotiations, and contracts.

  • Ability to maintain and build upon existing business and to identify and grow new business.opportunities.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent experience in mammalian cell culture and/or bioprocessing.

  • 4 years of strategic sales/bioprocessing experience or related scientific work experience.

  • Proven customer project planning skills.

  • Strong influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels including C-Suite.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

High level presentation skills: able to present ideas to customers in a way thatproduces understanding and impact.

  • Proven track record on relationship building skills.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $82,400 - $144,200. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
