Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team and lead the development and enhancement of our Your Aetna Virtual Assistant (YAVA) product. YAVA is a cutting-edge virtual assistant designed to improve customer engagement and streamline operations and is currently available in voice and chat channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across engineering, compliance, security, operations, and executive management to translate business needs into an effective product strategy.

  • Define and prioritize product features and requirements, creating detailed acceptance criteria.

  • Partnering with Product owners to ensure detailed user stories are created.

  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.

  • Monitor product performance and user feedback, making data-driven decisions to enhance the product.

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Facilitate customer discovery sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to create amazing products.

  • Maintain a healthy product backlog, writing and accepting features, and ensuring a balanced approach to meeting customer demands and achieving business goals.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Product owner or Product Manager, preferably in the technology or healthcare industry.

  • Strong understanding of AI and virtual assistant technologies.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI bot development and implementation.

  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and standards.

  • Experience with Rally

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field or equal experience

What a Successful Product Manager Looks Like:

A successful Product Manager at YAVA is someone who embodies the role of a "mini-CEO" of the product. They are responsible for ensuring the product solves user problems with high quality and a great user experience, while achieving the desired business outcomes. They work closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers and engineers, to create a compelling user experience and a successful Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and beyond. They are adept at conducting user research, defining and prioritizing product features, and maintaining a healthy backlog of user stories. They are also skilled at facilitating prioritization conversations, crafting product vision into an outcome-focused product roadmap, and ensuring all stories are successfully tested. A successful Product Manager is a strong communicator, leader, and collaborator who can navigate the intersection of business, design, and technology to deliver high-quality products that meet all success criteria.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $199,144.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
