Eaton Corporation Pricing Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts

Eaton’s Commercial & Residential Distribution Solutions Division is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team. This position is based remotely or in one of the following locations; Arden, NC, Moon Township, PA, Atlanta, GA.

Position Overview:

This position will assist in the development and deployment of price strategies by segment, customer type, rebate model and price method in support of division price, share and profitability goals. The Pricing Analyst will liaison with the CRDS Pricing Manager, Product Management, Eaton Sales Team, Component Pricing Organization (CPRO) Regional Pricing Managers and Satellite Managers.

In this function you will:

  • Aggregates, defines, and creates value out of pricing data across product lines

  • Utilizes analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview and Excel to create data visualization models

  • Supports the price definition of new product offerings as defined by the product lines through comparative research, market analysis and value pricing principles

  • Coordinates with Pune based BI team in the development of new pricing tools and features.

  • Methodically calculates and organizes price results across the division

  • Supports the implementation of corrective actions resulting from research activities

  • Engages in the deployment of external and internally sourced price optimization solutions

  • Liaisons with Eaton sales management and Satellite Managers to provide price updates and to ensure the execution of defined pricing and commercial strategies

  • Creates price increase models and proposed financial outputs derived from our price optimization solutions

  • Leads efforts to digitalize data for general consumption across all product lines.

  • Research credit requests to ensure accurate rebate and credit filings

  • Collaborates with Product Line Management in support of their data needs and analytics objectives

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Two (2) years of experience in pricing, business, finance, or IT function

  • Two (2) years of experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • Technical – Knowledge of electrical distribution products, electrical products sales processes, Eaton pricing processes and systems preferred.

  • Experience and working knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau or data visualization software is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience and working knowledge of various ERP systems (SAP & Vista – Eaton internal) and QlikView systems preferred.

Position Criteria:

  • Professional – Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Experience in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphical form.

  • An understanding of costing concepts and terminology.

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $77,200 – 106,150 a year.
