Bank of America Portfolio Optimization and Strategy in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize the Savings portfolios for sales and deepening. This includes evaluating client behavior, sales and deepening activities, product selections, balance trends, profitability and the effectiveness of various initiatives and deepening tactics. This role will work closely with the savings and investments product managers to provide insights and identify opportunities for existing and new deepening strategies.

Gather market information & perform more complex product analyses on assigned products, manage product profitability & monitor financial performance, make recommendations for product enhancements & prepare necessary justification to support product changes. Competencies required include market analysis/research focus, in-depth knowledge of products, a Bachelors degree, & 2-5 years related experience.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related work experience

  • 2-3+ years of data analytic experience

  • Able to think strategically and tactically to drive product success

  • Able to form strong partnerships with key stakeholders and work with them on initiatives; hold accountable when needed

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and escalates issues or concerns effectively

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to confidently present to senior leaders

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others to drive execution or approval of strategic recommendations

  • Able to analyze product trends and understand the financials of the business

  • Able to work with large amounts of data via SQL

  • Strong excel and reporting experience is necessary

  • Strong problem solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science preferred

  • Prior experience with deposits and Merrill Edge

  • Analytical, modeling and/or optimization experience and education

  • Understanding of how the bank works from an enterprise perspective

  • Knowledge of Tableau reporting framework
