This Clinical Research Assistant I will be responsible for:
Collecting questionnaire data at four timepoints from the parents of children with ADHD who participate in a four session psychoeducational support group, “ADHD Bootcamp”.
Entering data into a central web-based system shared by three participating centers.
Observing the support group in process (schedule dependent).
Assisting with recruitment, data analysis, and preparation of manuscripts.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree.
Must be detail oriented and self-motivated
Have the ability to travel to our campuses at 300 Longwood Avenue in Boston and 9 Hope Avenue in Waltham.
Familiar with PC, Mac, and Excel; and enthusiastic for clinical research.
Knowledge of REDCap is desirable but not necessary. (Training on this data collection system will be provided as part of the position).
Ability to commit to 8 hours per week for at least a 10 month period with the possibility of continuing through the entire duration of the study if mutually decided upon by the applicant and principal investigator.
The Division of Developmental Medicine, located in the Longwood Medical Area, is currently looking for a part-time (8 hours per week) advanced undergraduate/Master’s Level clinical research assistant to work on a multisite study of parent guidance for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This position is ideal for anyone considering medical school, graduate school in Clinical Psychology or a future in clinical research.
