Job Complexity / Scope

The Sales Enablement Lead is focused on enabling our Solution Engineer organization around our sales methodology, the Oracle Applications Way, and empowering our sales team to become trusted advisors to our customers. This role works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. It requires exercising independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results that support our business transformation. It also requires developing and maintaining relationships across the organization to drive collaboration between different groups and manage complex stakeholder groups.

Will manage a small team supporting sales enablement.

Preferred Experience

12+ years of relevant experience. Subject matter expertise in innovation/human-centered practices and cloud delivery as well as:

  • Experience leading a portfolio of work efforts focused new ways of working and engaging with customers

  • Experience developing and managing Solution Engineer enablement programs, monitoring progress/performance and refining approach based on results

  • Experience working in design innovation environments

  • Able to work on and prioritize multiple competing initiatives, managing up as necessary

  • Experience interacting with senior level client/customer base and coordinating complex stakeholder groups

  • Expertise in design practices such as experience design and digital design including email, social media, web, and video.

  • Strong customer-orientation including a superior client service attitude and approach, with strong attention to listening and understanding.

  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Strong writing and presentation skills

ANTICIPATED DUTIES/WORK TASKS

This role will orchestrate and implement comprehensive, forward-looking sales enablement strategies to achieve and exceed business development and growth. In this role you will help drive change and business transformation by fostering innovation, mentoring our talent and making sure every experience is taken to the next level. This role supports our push for sales excellence with an end goal of customer satisfaction, growth and retention.

  • Create Experiences: Embrace and advocate an experience mindset with our teams as they engage with our customers (e.g. meetings, events, demos).

  • Research and Analysis: Perform internal customer analysis as well as qualitative and quantitative research around competitors, emerging trends and customer behaviors. Distill findings into clearly articulated and actionable tactics that sellers can apply with customers.

  • Enablement: Design, build and execute content and curriculum focused on our enabling our Solution Engineers around our new sales methodology. Build out vital resources to equip the sales organization to engage prospects and clients, including sales playbooks, messaging, collateral, and sales skill modules and platforms.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with team members of all levels and disciplines and contributes with their perspective in discussions. Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to pivot with changing direction or environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Coach and mentor resources across NAA to help our sales team better engage with our customers throughout the sales journey.

California Pay Range: from $141,800 to $262,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

Colorado Pay Range: from $141,800 to $262,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

New York City Pay Range: from $141,800 to $262,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

Washington Pay Range: from $141,800 to $262,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
