The Omni-Channel Solution Architect helps champion and drive the technology vision and strategy for omni-channel experiences and capabilities, integrating digital and physical touchpoints. This critical position works closely with our Omni-Channel and cross-functional business and technology teams to develop solutions that encompass omni-channel practices.

The technology solutions needed to enable omni-channel experiences enhance the capabilities to communicate to and engage with members in their care decisions where, when, and how they desire and ultimately improve outcomes. The Omni-Channel Solution Architect helps champion and drive the technology vision and strategy for omni-channel experiences and capabilities, integrating digital and physical touchpoints. This critical position works closely with our Omni-Channel and cross-functional business and technology teams to develop solutions that encompass omni-channel practices.

We’re looking for a passionate, experienced omni-channel technologist to solution these critical, strategic member-engaging technologies. The ideal candidate has prior digital technical engineering experience along with at least one other channel (call center, sales, etc.), enthusiastic and energetic relationship building qualities, and an eager desire to keep abreast of the latest in omni-channel technologies. This role will also be required to understand other internal & external business and system domains as they relate to omni experiences for our members.

Responsibilities:

Technical solution ownership for omni-channel applications

Owns the technical roadmaps of key technologies for both short and long-term timeframes

Aware of omni-channel technologies and keeps abreast of trends and directions of solutions

Engages with various business stakeholders to develop, quantify, and recommend omni-channel strategies to meet our end-customer’s needs

Owns the development and communication of company technical & product strategies to executive, operational management and development teams

Participates in the full Digital product lifecycle; including idea generation, requirements elicitation and definition, implementation and performance analysis

Works closely with engineering teams to turn requirements into valuable user experiences

Establishes procedures and activities to manage new capability requests & ideas

Promote associate loyalty and recognition within Enterprise Technology

Continually challenge department associates to take on new responsibilities and be innovative

Education and Experience:

BA/ BS in computer science or other related field or equivalent experience

10+ years of application development experience directly involving external web and/or mobile applications

5+ years of solution architecture experience in an omni-channel environment

5+ years of experience directly working with Product Owner/Product Management roles

5+ years Agile software development experience

Health insurance and/or health-related industry experience a plus

Technical Delivery Experience:

Ideal candidate has working experience with Angular, Java, Spring , micro-services, and full-stack technologies

Self-learner and networking skills that are required to be successful in this role given the matrixed ecosystem and related teams

Experience working in Project and product management methodologies

Experience or a good understanding and willingness to working in DevSecOps and Agile Scrum/Kanban based Software Development.

Cloud infrastructure familiarity such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or Google

Experience or a good understanding and willingness to include Security during all phases of development

Learning Experience:

Experience or a good understanding and willingness to commit to and practice Continuous improvement in people, process and technology to promote collaboration, agility and speed to deliver

Experience in ensuring the right level of Communication to keep all stakeholders, team members and users in sync and on the same page

Ability to Coach and be open to be Coached to be effective problem solvers, to deal with ambiguity/unknowns, to connect with the big picture (business value), to call out barriers to delivery and, to be mission focused.

Leadership Experience:

Experience in delegating while maintaining accountability

Extensive experience to reassess and adjust tactical and/or operational direction

Great communication skills coupled with a strong desire for personal development and learning

Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated technical leadership

Skills to Establish and Maintain Delivery Based Business and Peer relationship

Experience in managing Service Providers and Holding them accountable

Partnership Experience:

Experience in establishing effective partnerships across teams and influence senior management, peers and subordinates in an inclusive style to leverage their abilities and knowledge.

Ability to Align with Leadership Guidance and Provide recommendation on team sizes, engagement, measurements to maximize collaboration, eliminating handoffs and high paced agile delivery environment
