About the role

Get ready for an exciting role with CBRE! World Class Real Estate company CBRE - Healthcare Division, is in search of a high-reaching, reliable and skilled Mobile Maintenance Technician who is ready to take their talents to the next level! Route is locations outside of the city, North and South.

What you will do:

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems and equipment, vehicles, and grounds within a geographical area/route potentially across multiple sites North & South of Boston, MA

Uses several trade skills such as welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling. Must be flexible on schedule.

  • Aligns with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

  • Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repairs records.

  • Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders materials and supplies to finish the tasks. Applies CMMS to handle work orders and supervise completion.

  • Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems. This includes: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.

  • Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.

  • Coordinates and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.

  • Supports an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.

  • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps. Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.

What you will need:

An individual needs to be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.

  • Excellent oral and written communications

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile Maint Technician position is $27.00 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Mobile Maint Technician position is $30.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
