Senior Investment Writer
The Senior Investment Writer drafts market, investment and retirement content for a variety of audiences to inform of the organization's investment activities. Working under minimal supervision, this job is responsible for producing and editing investment-specific written documentation that will be distributed across various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Develops written and multimedia investment content (including white papers and product support pieces) that is clear and engaging for all target audiences.
Collaborates with professionals in different functions, including client service, finance, strategy and investment teams to ensure correctness of content and establish key objectives and themes.
Proofreads investment articles and submits final drafts and layouts to production department for review.
Possesses thorough knowledge of the organizationâs investment activities as well as broader industry trends to draft well-informed communications.
Recognizes and upholds the firmâs brand in all written investment communications.
Builds strong relationships with investment and communications counterparts as well as key internal stakeholders to ensure successful strategy alignment and distribution of content.
Provides recommendations to management on messaging and communications formats to maintain clarity and accuracy of message.

The Mgr., Advisory Content Manager is responsible for the creation, writing, editing and execution of thought leadership for the Investment Management Group.Â This individual will be responsible for fielding requests for thought leadership content, and shepherding the request through the creation process, including drafting/writing, editing, and final delivery.Â This financial markets and investment professional will analyze complex topics involving financial markets, the economy, managed accounts, and lifetime income, and make them easy to understand for financial professionals and their clients.Â Target audiences are Wealth Management Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Financial Consultants, investment support teams as well as existing and potential customers. Target customer audiences span from mass affluent, to high net worth, to small-to-mid sized institutions, endowments and foundations. The role reports to the Chief Portfolio Strategist within TIAAâs Investment Management Group (IMG), which oversees $75+ billion in client assets.
Potential Salary: $117,000.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.Â In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
