Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Responsibilities

This role is for a Solution Consultant new hire in the newly created AMER Customer Technology (CT) Solution Consulting team. We are looking to hire for the role of Master Principal Sales Consultant. As part of the AMER Solution Consulting team this role will work closely with three groups focused on the CX area: 1) The field sales team to help deepen sales relationships with customers by working directly with prospects in understanding business needs, conducting face to face engagements to get business and technical layout in advance of any procurement activities, and translate business vision and challenge to an application roadmap that can be used in follow-up activities. 2) Pre-sales and Sis to transmit any information gathered into a meaningful engagement during demo or RFP activity. 3) Go-To Market and Marketing: By feeding information gathered about the market and industry into future sales campaigns and messaging as well as product roadmap. The consultant will bring deep industry knowledge through exposure to multiple industry solutions, service types, and applications, industry relationships through conference attendance and independent relationships with utility clients, and extensive knowledge of Oracle Utilities solutions to drive complex deals to a successful result for Oracle. We are aiming for this individual to start as soon as possible so as to work towards a successful second half of the fiscal year.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $57.36 to $103.32 per hour; from $119,300 to $214,900 per annum; eligible for commission and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $57.36 to $103.32 per hour; from $119,300 to $214,900 per annum; eligible for commission and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
