Marketing Manager – Acquisition

Glendale, CA or Remote

The Marketing Manager - Acquisition will be responsible for developing and implementing highly effective strategies for acquiring profitable new subscribers worldwide and meeting segment sales and ROI goals in support of the AudioDigest and OnDemand continuing medical education (CME) learning solutions portfolio.

*This position will work from a remote home office and can be based anywhere in the U.S.**


Drive individual subscriber acquisition efforts to:

  • Meet/exceed revenue goals exceeding $34MM annually.

  • Identify individual market segment trends and growth opportunities and support tailored, personalized omnichannel marketing campaigns.

  • Develop strong understanding of each segment’s needs, behaviors, economics and overall value proposition.

  • Implement data analytics and modeling to refine prospect targeting efforts, to optimize impact and ROI.

  • Devise and implement multi-media marketing strategies that are effective in growing our worldwide individual subscriber business to meet sales and ROI goals; strategies will include but will not be limited to print and digital marketing and will require collaboration with the Marketing. Product and Sales teams.

  • Collaborate with inside sales to optimize market performance.

Own the individual acquisition budget and forecasting for key market segments.


Education: BA/BS degree with a major in marketing, business management or related field preferred; or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.

Required Experience:

6+ years of progressive acquisition marketing experience with significant P&L responsibility including:

  • Prior experience in marketing to physicians strongly preferred.

  • Experience and success with market segmentation, customer personas and journey maps.

  • Demonstrated experience in sales forecasting and budgeting.

  • Experience using data analytics and modeling to refine acquisition targeting.

  • Expertise and demonstrated success in digital marketing required; direct mail marketing experience preferred.

  • Proven success in driving B to C customer growth.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Strategic thinker, analytical, self-starter.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and staff management skills.

Travel: can be up to 25% post-Covid.
