About the role:

In support of achieving our aggressive growth targets, we are seeking to hire a Campaign Specialist to define, develop, execute, and report on B2B marketing campaigns and to provide sales team members key insights and intelligence on relevant business trends. In this role, you will research target audience needs and drive education, engagement, and campaign conversion activities across our outbound and account-based marketing programs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of demand generation and account-based marketing with a background in marketing automation and customer relationship management. S/he will be a detail and results oriented creative thinker who thrives in an innovative, self-starter environment.

Core responsibilities:

• Design and implement omnichannel demand generation campaigns that employ traditional and new media channels to attract net new leads and drive demand from existing contacts

• Meet funnel marketing objectives by successfully managing primarily email marketing and webinar campaign development processes, including messaging, creative development, deployment, and reporting, with a heavy emphasis on email marketing and sales scripts

• Research target market segments and develop detailed personas, including for each key decision maker appropriate demographic, psychographic and role characteristics along with their goals, objectives, and challenges

• Build out and maintain the buyer’s journey for each persona, identifying their key information requirements and working across our business to identify subject experts and obtain the required content

• Liaise with content marketers to define and specify creative content and assets to drive forecasted campaign results and satisfy buyer’s journey thought leadership needs

• Share market insights that enable sales team members to engage in a consultative sales process, more easily win deals and revenue, and deliver the best possible customer experience

• Collaborate with external agencies and cross-functional internal marketing team members to ensure consistent and synchronized message delivery

• Interpret various customer and prospect data to identify key segments from within new and existing databases to ensure campaigns are targeted to appropriate contacts at appropriate times and are communicating the appropriate messages

• Report and present on current and previous campaign, sales, and general marketing data to provide strategic business insights that can guide future decisions

• Work closely with internal teams to gather feedback on campaign success, update them on upcoming campaigns, and plan necessary content assets for future campaigns

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Core requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years of experience developing and executing demand focused campaigns for B2B software companies a must, ideally with a heavy emphasis on multi-touch marketing campaigns that have incorporated email marketing, webinars, PPC, SEO, social media and other digital marketing channels

• Strong working knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, graphic design programs

• Well defined understanding of the relationships between offline and online marketing channels

• Experience with multiple, coordinated software systems including email marketing, registration, survey, CRM, marketing automation or analytics (Salesforce and Eloqua a plus)

• Working knowledge of web, mobile, email design and layout also a plus
