Wayfair Manager, Partner Operations Asia Partner Solutions in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At Partner Operations, we thrive to partner with thousands of suppliers to maximize customer’s experience by delivering the most cost efficient perfect orders at scale. This means driving speed and cost improvement initiatives and developing end-to-end fulfillment and inventory position strategies for suppliers leveraging Wayfair’s logistics services (CaslteGate) as well as suppliers’ own supply chain capacities.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our fastest growing business unit, Asia Partner Solutions group, in which you will be part of a team that partners with international suppliers to grow their business with Wayfair.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CastleGate was created to dramatically improve consumers’ shopping experience, and develop a unique competitive advantage for Wayfair. We do this by offering one and two-day delivery times, lower prices, and higher delivery quality of home products than has historically been possible. In order to accomplish this goal, CastleGate partners with suppliers, and provides access to our rapidly expanding portfolio of logistics services.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Availability Strategy is at the forefront of building an innovative, scale-able business strategy for Wayfair to support business growth of 3-4x. You will develop insights to influence suppliers’ product assortment, production, supply chain and operations. Other focus areas include financial analysis and decision-making related to inventory purchasing, managing excess inventory, promotional buys and improving overall inventory efficiency.</span></p>

<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue, operations, and profitability goals through continuous analysis of performance and by identifying new opportunities for expansion.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams globally including Analytics, Category Management, International Supply Chain, and Forecasting</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain industry expertise; keep abreast of trends and new product ideas and develop relationships with new, target suppliers.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive root cause analysis/reporting on operational issues, developing action plans and project managing improvements</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop a close understanding of suppliers’ businesses, manage and own the P&amp;L for your vertical, determine what services we can sell them to expand our partnerships, negotiate business terms and support your team in these conversations.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Have basic understanding and can effectively guide senior analysts to execute ad hoc analyses or build reportings using BigQuery, SQL, and/or Excel</span></li>

<p><strong>What You'll Need</strong></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years experience in the following fields, e-commerce, supply chain, inventory management, account management</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with SQL (or a system of equal complexity) preferred</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A successful entrepreneur who has built similar or related product/service offerings, especially in the logistics space.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">An innovative manager-doer who is looking for an opportunity to lead product category verticals strategy and execution</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong analytical experience and comfortable operating with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Detailed oriented with a strong client or customer management experience skill set. Comfortable in front of C level executives.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluency in Mandarin (read + written + verbal) and willingness to take calls in the morning and evening (e.g. 7:30am, 9:00pm)</span></li>
