FirstService Residential Maintenance Supervisor in Boston, Massachusetts
FirstService Residential is seeking a full time Lead Maintenance Technician based in our Canton, MA Office serving residential communities in the South Shore and Downtown Boston
Primary Responsibilities: Under the Direction of the Chief Engineer and Community Manager, the Lead Mechanic Engineer is responsible for Maintaining All Equipment, Mechanical Rooms and Electrical Systems/Rooms, Fire and Life Safety systems.
Additional Responsibilities:

Perform inspections and fill out logs as required on equipment. Report Complete and repair as necessary and designated. *
Operate, Repair and Maintain All operating Equipment, including, but not limited to All Pumps, Motors , HVAC equipment, Fire Pumps and Generators. *
Operate, Repair and Maintain All Electrical Systems and Equipment *
Paint All Surface on and around equipment as well as designate the color code for piping systems. Paint and keep all equipment in the Machine room in a VERY neat, clean and orderly fashion. *
Operate, Repair and maintain all lighting and related Equipment.

Operate, Repair and maintain all plumbing in associated system. *
Any other related duties as assigned by the property Manager and Chief Engineer. *
Be available 24/7 for building emergencies as well as being part of a rotation on call Mechanic.
Skill Requirements:
*
High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Technical background from university or vocational sources a plus.
*
Minimum 1- 3 years experience in general grounds or buildings maintenance,.High Rise maintenance experience preffered. *
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry trades. Must be able to operate tools and equipment related to facility maintenance. *
Must have and maintain clean driving record, and be able to pass background check.
