Our SciBite Team uses semantic deep-learning solutions to transform the way life science organizations handle text and documents. We can quickly identify and extract scientific terminology from unstructured text and transform it into valuable machine-readable data. About the Role

As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you will ensure our customers are able to clearly demonstrate and quantify value from their investment with us. You will work closely with the commercial and delivery teams to expand existing and secure new customer relationships. You will facilitate technical discussions and provide product demonstrations to show the capabilities and benefits of our SciBite Semantic Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our SciBite technologies, latest industry trends and how these apply to customer needs

  • Providing proactive technical expertise and support to our customers for on-boarding, training identifying issues and pain-points and implementing solutions

  • Collaborating with our sales team on customer engagements as a technical expert to scope proposals and drive business development opportunities

  • Understanding relevant use-cases and how best to position SciBite to address these by working with customers to capture project requirements

  • Contributing to SciBite internal R&D through qualifying and prioritizing customer feedback to our product management team

  • P artnering with project management, implementation and delivery teams to ensure post-sales processes run smoothly and customer requirements are successfully delivered

    Requirements

  • Have experience working with informatics software and understanding of data-science, python, text-analytics, machine learning or software development

  • Have proven experience in Life Sciences or Bioinformatics and be comfortable discussing technologies and trends that are currently applied

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technologies, environments and vendors commonly used in the informatics industry

  • Be able to clearly articulate complex solutions to customers and stakeholders

  • Show the ability to be a self-starter and a good team player who can take the initiative

  • Have excellent organizational skills and be able to adapt and flex to deliver multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

  • Be able to identify problems and collaborate with teams to implement creative solutions

  • Be a natural communicator, with an ability to engage, present and demonstrate technical content to a range of audiences
