You are:

A skilled creative who can help brands t ell their stor ies through a variety of channels , build HCP and patient audiences , and analyze the holis tic experience of those audience s to identify where content can make a difference. You understand the journeys of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, match ing their steps to strategic initiatives t hat achieve business goals . You know how to r esearch the competitive landscape to frame an overall content strategy, determine the brand personality/archetype and “tone of voice,” and brief internal creative teams on specific tactics . You have an innate understanding of how healthcare audiences consume content (especially in a digital/interactive landscape) . Yo u are confident as an individual contributor, ready to jump in and take a leadership role when required , but also someone who embrace s collaboration with cross- functional team s .

The Work :

  • The Life Sciences Content Strategist will d esign and execute Life Sciences content strategy based on business objectives and customer needs

  • Establishes content briefs for content that engag e users across multiple digital channels ( e.g. email, web /portals , mobile app, blog, social media, and more

  • Manages content development , e nsur ing content is timely, relevant, accurate, a n d appropriate to brand requirements

  • Inform s site mapping, content hierarchy in wireframes and prototyping for websites, marketing landing pages, news blogs, tool applications and more

  • Perform s qualitative/quantitative content mapping, auditing, gap analysis, analytics research, keyword and search findings, competitive assessments, market research, user and stakeholder interviews

  • Define s information architecture, navigation and taxonomy, user flows, metadata strategies, content matrix recommendations.

  • Define s key messages based on clinical study and product information

  • Implement s SEO best practices

  • Identifies KPIs and measure s content effectiveness to refine strategy.

  • Builds and manages digital content roadmap s , content calendar s , documents, and reports.

  • Creates and manages editorial guidelines for digital content.

  • Develops advance d strategies to maximize content and its distribution across a variety of digital channels.

  • C onsult s on pitches, workshops and other new business projects as required, thus ensuring a strategic approach

  • Support s the business development team with strategic input, client meetings, presentations and proposal writing

  • Own the storyline and content creation for strategy-focused pitches and new business presentations

  • Executes content briefs with hands-on work as a copywriter or editor for some opportunit ies

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

  • Experience developing content strategy for the life sciences or health sector

  • Experience across both traditional and emerging channels

  • Minimum of 5 years ’ experience of content and copywriting

  • Experienced in Life Sciences design principles, e.g. MLR review processes and requirements, Fair Balance, branded vs. unbranded restrictions, etc.

  • Expertise at understanding how to engage HCP, Patient, and C aregiver audiences to motivate and drive action and engagement

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

    SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Medical Writing

  • Expert at strategic brainstorming, campaign development and creative execution writing email copy, advertising (digital, print, banners), brand messaging, web copy, video scripts, marketing collateral

  • Experience with developing content and copy for medical portals

  • Strong understanding of UX principles and how it relates to copy

  • Exper ience in Oncology, Neurology, Rare Disease , Patient Services or related areas

    As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $75,600 - $122,799 and information on benefits offered is here. (
