The Learning and Training Instructor instructs different facets of 20-week program focused on 21st century digital skills. Duties include developing and delivering workplace training modules and workshops incorporating asynchronous,?and?synchronous learning techniques.

  • Deliver Instructor in-person, web based or blended curriculum.

  • Nurture and enhance positive and trusting relationships with trainees through short term case management.

  • Advocate on trainees behalf and collaborate with service providers.

  • Design training activities and assessments that enhance skills, knowledge, and workplace expectations of employers.

  • Collaborate with the TI team to support program graduates in job search, interviewing, and job retention.

  • Ongoing communication with trainee funders in a timely manner.

  • Document interactions and program activities in Apricot database; ensure data quality, and generate reports.

  • Support program enrollment efforts and information sessions when necessary.

  • Provide administrative support for quarterly cycle start-up and data?entry.?

  • Contribute to meeting all the needs of the organization including fundraising activities, program events, and partner cultivation.


  • Bachelor’s Degree and three years of related training experience or 7 years of related training experience without a degree.

  • Demonstrated passion for change and continuous personal improvement.

  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Self-starter, proactive in planning and execution.

  • Excellent organizational, planning and coordination skills – able to plan, prioritize, respond to changing deadlines and demands.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including a highly responsive customer centered disposition.

  • Skilled at coaching others, supporting them in identifying their development areas and navigating solutions.

  • Able to engage and influence colleagues in a way that motivates and empowers action.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work with all levels of management in multi-functional departments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn and teach new technology through independent study.
