CODAMETRIX Lead Integration Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

The Engineering team is responsible for technical implementation of our award-winning products. The goal of the team is to produce adaptable, robust, secure products that delight our users.

The Lead Integration Engineer is responsible for the technical leadership of our Healthcare Integration Services. The Lead Integration Engineer is accountable for ensuring the technical quality of the product design, software, and delivery, and is the liaison between the engineering team and other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Technical leadership of the Integration team supporting both CodaMetrix product development and implementations

  • Coordinate across Engineering, Machine Learning, and Analytics & Customer Engagement (ACE) teams

  • Participate in project activities, including status meetings and reviews of other engineers’ designs and code

  • Writes and Tests integrations between CodaMetrix Customers and the core CodaMetrix services

  • Overall architecture and design of the Integration services and how they fit into the larger CodaMetrix solution

  • Manage a team of Engineers and Developers, providing onboarding plans, hosting recurring 1:1 conversations and having performance conversations

  • Partner with Engineer leadership on hiring strategy and acting as the hiring manager for new Engineering positions that will support the service line

    Requirements

  • 8+ years of architecture, development and implementation experience with HL7v2 and FHIR technologies

  • Deep and broad knowledge of Mirth and/or Rhapsody Integration Engines

  • Experience with HTTP(s), Rest, (S)FTP, TCP/IP, JSON, CSV, XML

  • Broad experience with JavaScript, Java

  • Integration/Interface development, testing, and delivery

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with both management and peers

  • Computer Science bachelor’s degree

  • Prior experience managing employees, including being responsible for hiring, onboarding and employee development

    Beneficial Experience

  • Knowledge of professional billing

  • Experience with n-scalable systems design, especially AWS SaaS solutions, big data, and apps with large data demand

  • Experience with CCDA,EDI X12, IHE

  • Statistical background and/or exposure to ML techniques and programming

  • Experience in developing healthcare software solutions
