If you’re interested in a rewarding career working with the industry’s best and most innovative Lab Planning Architects and Designers, working with the Director of Lab Design, Project Managers, Design/Technical staff and reporting directly to the Group Manager then Jacobs is where you belong. We are looking for a driven and curious Lab Project Architect for our Boston, MA Office.
This position may start as a remote role but you will still interface with your team and the clients, client representatives and contractors for technical aspects and project design, and conduct periodic meetings in Boston for on-site observation during construction.
Our Lab projects are unique in that they are extremely fast pace and require us to be knowledgeable in Lab architectural design, construction detailing, zoning, building codes, building systems and materials. Our Clients will face a myriad of issues and lean on you for expert advice as you steer them through providing design, sound solutions and strategy. With this we’ll ask you to prepare and present presentations from research, studies, and reports. You’ll assist in preparing budgets design and documentation scheduling.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Master’s in architecture
Architecture Registration (Massachusetts)
Demonstrated program experience in the usage of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office and Adobe suite
Extensive experience with building code
Ability to travel to project sites in the Greater Boston Area
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Participation in professional organizations
LEED AP credentials
