Job Description

At the direction of the Domain Lead, the IS&T Director, Business Solutions will partner with business executive stakeholders to lead business process mapping and improvement projects that increase business efficiency, streamline processes and reduce complexity in the organization's application portfolio. With business leadership, advise Digital Solutions, prioritize improvements and demands with the business. Identify resources and efforts to implement projects and solutions once approved by business stakeholders and management. Manage/Oversee projects from initiation to implementation. Requires strong analytical skills, business analysis skills, excellent business process documentation, and customer service skills. Be a leader that supports, manages, and executes projects and accompanies the business in their change. Vendor management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve goals.

  • Build and leverage relationships with management, key business stakeholders, and external organizations. Offer Innovative Awareness, Review demand, projects, tasks, and deliverables frequently, and change priorities or scope in coordination with ever-changing customer needs.

  • Strong Customer Service Focus: Strong customer service skills and behaviors

  • Enhance or improve the customer experience on a continuous basis. Provide excellent customer service.

  • Proactively Identify tools and business process improvement areas in the business and influence stakeholders' buy-in to change and/or adapt as necessary.

  • Experience managing/overseeing the transformational project from inception to completion

  • Document current business processes, identify areas to streamline, and make more efficient, re-design business processes and implement the changes - challenge status quo business thinking

  • Digitize in all areas of possible business processes with appropriate tools, applications, and technical solutions.

  • Blueprint functional and technical change documentation and work as the liaison between the business and outsourced service providers to deliver the services and changes to the applications as necessary.

  • Provide senior leadership with regular project status & reporting.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate through expertise

  • Develop business technology strategies to ensure standardized processes and tools as much as possible.

  • Assist in defining all functional aspects of various business applications including but not limited to SAP for the particular areas of customer service and purchasing for the global supply chain.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to implement major projects aligned with business goals.

  • Ability/Willingness to work with Global peers to share best practices to further the VNA business

  • Create and present business cases, plus identify business needs in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Solution Delivery teams to identify appropriate internal and external resources necessary to accomplish project deliverables on time and on budget.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, concise, and professional presentations and communications.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree, Master Degree preferred

  • 5-8 years business experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Technology versed

  • Supply chain experience with focus on dispatch and tracking systems

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Driven - High Energy

  • Organization

  • Functional support, blueprinting new capabilities and changes, technical requirements

  • Document Functional specifications, ie business blueprinting

  • At the Domain Lead’s direction liaise between Key Business Users and Developers ensuring Business Requirements are defined, fulfilled, and are met in a timely manner

  • IT experience with ERP management (SAP) including Billing and Financial reporting (+)

Required Certification / Licenses / Training

  • Agile PM, Agile Scrum, Agile Product Manager (+)
