The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a telephonic inbound/outbound sales role that is responsible for generating revenue and/or profit margin in small to mid-sized accounts. The (ISR) is responsible for learning sales techniques and reporting daily or weekly activity to a Field Sales Manager or Inside Sales Team Leader. The (ISR) may also participate on key account sales teams and provide ongoing service and support in named accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Outbound lead generation for Integrated Business Forecasting and Supply Chain Planning solution
Inbound lead qualification and management (until qualified and demo booked or transitioned to AE)
Understands needs, expectations, and business problems of potential customers
Supports Account Executives with telemarketing campaigns
Demonstrates value proposition of Vanguard Software and aligns offerings with customer-specific business issues
Achieves and surpasses daily performance metrics
Establishes friendly and professional relationships with prospects and customers
Manages a database of prospects and contact them regularly
Records details of every prospect communication in CRM
Ensures that timely and accurate information is entered into CRM (Salesforce.com) daily
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or other related field; Or if no degree, equivalent years’ of relevant work experience
Minimum Experience:
Two or more years in an inside sales, sales/business development (SDR/BDR) or telemarketing role
Strong phone skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidence
Creative thinker who can resolve critical problems
Solid organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and handle conflicts in the business
Target-driven and teamwork oriented
Ability to work independently as well as flourish with coaching
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams)
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with supply chain software/SaaS and/or Cloud technology solutions
Predicative analytics domain expertise
Supply chain, financial performance management (CPM/EPM), or demand planning industry knowledge
TRAVEL
- Limited travel; up to 10% annually
