Job Description

This job opportunity in IFS will be part of the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) group which is responsible for the portions of the system foundry that brings the best of Intel technologies to IFS customers, differentiating and accelerating their solutions from architecture to post-silicon validation.
The role of a Design Automation Engineer responsibility will include but is not limited to:
Developing and maintaining state of the art tools for our world-wide IFS SOC and IP design and validation team
Working with design and verification engineers to understand their needs.
Creating tools to enable the engineers to be more efficient.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate:
Experience with Intel internal tools as well as industry standard tools and will guide the team to the best solution.
The ability to organize work within competing delivery dates from different customers.
The ability to mentor and coach team members
Qualifications
You must possess the education and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Education : Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any STEM related degree
Minimum requirements:
Experience in one or more of the following:
Design automation
Integrated circuit design using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools,
EDA tools
Expert scripting skills using at least of the programming language such Python, PERL, TCL
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in System Verilog, Verilog, SoC design integration, design verification flow and methodology

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $80,190.00-$120,050.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
