To direct and assist guest and associates with communication needs in accordance with Omni Standards.
• Answer phone calls for in house or outside lines and see they are appropriately assisted.• Direct phone calls to appropriate Personnel.• Assist all guests and associates request; logging and tracking calls into Synergy• Log wake-up calls in Opera PMS and perform call following Omni standard w/ weather.• Print and prepare next day registration cards including all applicable inserts.• Creating and stuffing key packets with breakfast coupons or other appropriate items.• Understand and responsible for protecting guest’s confidential information.• Entering, reading, and completing Alerts and messages in Opera PMS.• Employ the power of one and six pillars of Omni Culture at all times.• Comply with Moments of Service standards and participate in mandatory MOS audits• Comply with all Ideal Services SOP’s.• Understand and implement emergency procedures as relevant to PBX• Understanding of TDD phone machine• Be knowledgeable in the use of Opera, Synergy, MS Office, Internet, and other pertinent computer applications.• Understand Xeta contact information for phone line repair.
• Utilize the radio to contact other hotel departments and dispatch calls.• Solicit Select guest enrollment and assist in processing SG applications.• Attend monthly meetings, contributing to discussion.• Attend daily stand-up meetings.• Complete all tasks in accordance with daily checklists.• Must be familiar with local attractions and able to give directions.• Utilize internet in compliance with Omni policy.• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.• Must possess basic computational ability.• Working knowledge of applicable sanitation standards.• Accept other duties as requested by management.• All employees are required to fully comply with Omni rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel’s facilities.
