Citizens Home Mortgage Digital Product Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
Description
The Digital Product Manager reports to the Digital Mortgage Manager in the Originations Home Lending Organization. Results-driven colleague needed to aid in the execution of digital mortgage solutions for Consumer Lending businesses. Utilizing a user-centric mindset, this individual will be a key contributor in driving optimal digital lending experiences. The digital product manager will lead the execution activities of cross-functional teams involving various business partners in the development and deployment of new products, product enhancements, and process improvements.
Primary responsibilities include:
Responsible for the strategic development and execution of the digital mortgage projects/programs
Relentlessly push to understand customer needs and ensures customer is considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions
Help set product vision and lead road mapping, goal setting, story writing, project execution, A/B testing, and product rollout strategy
Continually drive digital products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility
Provide direction on the development, testing, and refinement of UX prototypes in a hybrid agile/waterfall environment
Develop backlog prioritized according to importance and clearly communicate the requirements to the team and work with individual team members as needed to explain requirements
Perform User Acceptance Testing
Serve as subject matter expert, contributing practitioner, thought leader, career guide, and mentor to teams
Establish or participate in Design Thinking, Agile, and LEAN rituals which establish rhythm for the team, promote ongoing communications, and iterative refinement of roadmaps
Qualifications
Excellent relationship building skills
2-4 years of Agile Product Management experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment
Organized, controlled, engaged, polished meeting management
Ability to be decisive
Above average knowledge of Mortgage
Above average knowledge of origination systems and related support systems
Experience with Agile tactics and tools
Bachelor’s degree required
Applicant should have a strong working knowledge of Empower.net, Global Document Repository, and Empower.net Setups.
Experience working within a cross-functional team using Agile/Scrum
Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
Willing to travel (up to 50%)
