Home Energy Ambassador - Kansas City MO

Do you have an interest in Energy Efficiency

We are seeking a Home Energy Ambassador to assist in the education, promotion, installation and documentation of residential energy conservation and utility cost reduction measures in homes in and around Kansas City, MO. Job responsibilities include to assist with the installation and documentation of energy efficiency measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfilling customer scheduled appointments

• Arrive at assigned sites on-time with company supplied vehicle, hand tools, and materials.

• Complete removal and installation of common energy efficiency measures such as lightbulbs, showerheads, and faucet aerators in a quick, clean, professional manner with minimal disruption to residence.

• Accurately document the quantity of energy efficiency measures installed and the location installed in company supplied web application.

• Assess and document condition of energy using components of the home.

• Provide resident with informational card indicating activities performed at their residence, the benefits of energy conservation measures, and their best next steps to reduce energy usage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with general home maintenance & repair

• Ability to climb step ladder and work above head

• Comfortability with mobile devices

• Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

• High School diploma

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Organized and punctual

• Understanding of building science applications or construction background

Professional Skills:

• Good verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

• Will train on residential building energy performance and product installation.
