Healthcare Treasury Sales Executive

Job Description:

Bank of America is an industry leader in healthcare banking—connected to more than 90% of the top healthcare providers and payers. We are looking for a highly-motivated, proven leader with deep knowledge of healthcare to join our Global Transaction Services division to set the pace for change by driving rapid advancements in digital and advanced analytics across healthcare providers and payers. This leader will work across a matrix organization to help develop and drive the strategic vision for treasury receivables and payment solutions, in partnership with Sales, Product, Commercialization, Marketing, Learning & Development and Technology & Operations.

Primary responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise initiatives across a complex matrix organization to influence healthcare industry trends.

•Develop the strategy to accelerate the paper-to-electronic transformation of payments.

•Build a roadmap and business case for a paperless information channel and straight through reconciliation between healthcare providers and payers.

•Identify market trends, opportunities and competitive threats impacting clients and requiring changes to sales and product strategies (i.e. HC reform, regulatory changes). Develop and lead action plan for response.

•Regular assessment of Bank and Non-Bank competitors (including multitude of healthcare Fintechs) to identify competitive advantages, solution set gaps and prioritize opportunities for product investment, strategic alliances and acquisitions.

•Collaborate across Global Banking, Small Business, Consumer Banking, Enterprise Payments and Technology & Operations to create an end-to-end strategy for healthcare inclusive of consumer/patient, physician practices, full array of providers: acute care, sub-acute, ambulatory and payers.

•Create an environment that encourages diversity of thought and fosters inclusion while actively empowering others.

•Partner with Product Management on next-gen solutions to modernize payments, receipts and revenue-cycle management.

•Collaborate with Data Management to build the data analytics model for insights across healthcare segments.

•Work in lockstep with Head of AxiaMed/Merchant Strategy, Treasury Sales Executives and Receivables and Payments Product Leadership and other relevant product, innovation and data team leads.

•Accountable to GTS Sales Heads and President of Global Commercial Banking for regular updates including industry highlights, trends, technology and investments budget.

Required Skills:

•10+ years in healthcare experience, preferably in the financial services sector

•Masters or Bachelor’s with equivalent, relevant work experience

•Strong understanding of banking and treasury management

•Facility and knowledge of consumer and corporate healthcare payments space

•Clear understanding of patient-consumer behavior, and industry dynamics across healthcare providers and payers

•Experience developing and executing strategies designed to deliver a risk based and client centric culture

•Experience managing business performance, and executing strategy

•Acts with high integrity and sets high professional standards for ethics and quality of work. Leads by example and motivates members of team, organization, or industry. Acts as a mentor, advisor, and teacher, to make a positive impact on members of the healthcare payments industry 

•Collaborative executive who proactively builds trusted relationships with key partners and senior leaders garnering respect across the organization

•Demonstrated ability in successfully influencing peers with diverse points of view

•Communicates effectively and succinctly to Senior Executives

•Proven track record of driving business results

•Promotes a client-first mindset among the team

•Ability to partner across multiple functions and businesses to meet goals and outcomes

•Ability to be a change agent, flexible, comfortable working in a fast paced environment
